Can colored pencils be used for watercolor?
Watercolor and colored pencil drawings can be made on a variety of surfaces, including watercolor paper, plain paper, wood, masonite, and illustration board; the texture or tooth of the paper will influence the texture created by the colored pencil application.
Can you use water with Prismacolor pencils?

Colored pencils can be used with acrylics to add a new dimension to an acrylic painting, effectively turning it into a mixed media piece. The pencils can provide detail in a much more controlled manner than a brush.
Can I paint over colored pencils?
Do a test painting on the paper you want to use to see if you can use colored pencils under oil paint. It doesn’t have to be a detailed painting; just layer colored pencil on the paper, then stroke a little paint over it.
