How to Draw a Female Body
We’ll keep going with the basic drawing lessons, and today we’ve added a new guide on how to draw a female body.
The basic features of this step are a large pelvis and a relatively narrow chest; in general, the pelvis of a woman is usually narrower than the shoulders, which we will draw with this stickman in this step.
Our character’s arms and legs are made up of obtuse angles, while his body is made up of two parallel lines that taper down towards each other.
To make the body look more like a person rather than a toy, we outline the basic contours of the arms and legs, making sure that the arms of the girl in our figure are not too wide or embossed. We do this with long elongated cylinders and balls.
A typical female figure should have wide, round hips and legs that taper slightly downward, with contours that resemble the letter “M” where the hips and pelvis meet.
The contours of the ears are outlined to show how close they are to the rest of the body.
We’ve shown you a typical hairstyle that looks like a clump of hair on the back of the head, and now we’ll draw the contours of our lovely girl’s hairstyles; in fact, you can draw any hairstyle to suit your preferences.
In this step, we give our girl’s body a finished look by adding the outline of the bra and the contours of the navel.
We outline the contours of the arms to avoid overpowering our heroine’s figure, and there are barely noticeable extensions in the area of the elbow joints.
Drawing hands isn’t difficult if you don’t need to draw fingers. Here, we outline the small contours of the angular figures, which are fists. Add a small vertical line to each fist and make sure they aren’t too small or large.
Draw the legs again to complete the female body’s contours.
If you didn’t make any mistakes in the previous steps, your drawing should look fantastic with basic coloring. Choose the colors needed in this step according to your preferences. It’s critical to master the fundamentals of drawing before moving on to more difficult tasks, and this lesson was designed specifically for that purpose.
