How to Draw A Desk – A Step by Step Guide
The humble desk is a piece of furniture that many of us use on a daily basis; it can be used for work, creative projects, or reading a book, and learning how to draw a desk can be a fun way to represent these possibilities.
We’ll draw a computer monitor and mouse onto the surface later, but for now, we’ll concentrate on the outline of the desk, which will be at a slight angle for this picture-making exercise. Using a ruler, you may want to have a ruler on hand.
Step 2 – Next, draw a mouse on the table as well as more of the outline
With your ruler, draw a computer mouse on your desk, then draw a line from the mouse to the right-hand corner of the desk to fill in the gap; there will still be a space to the left of the mouse, but we’ll fill that in the next step.
Step 3 – Now, draw the computer monitor
The computer monitor is the second object we’ll draw in this guide, and you can use your ruler to fill in the gap between the inside and outside once more.
Step 4 – Next, continue drawing the desk outline
For this part of the drawing, we’ll concentrate on the desk’s outline, as well as the top and bottom, before adding some final details in the next step.
Step 5 – Now, you can finish off the final details of your desk drawing
We’ll be using that ruler again to draw the back of the desk in Step 5. Perhaps you could show us what you’d be storing on this desk in a creative way? View our gallery to see how to draw a desk.
Step 6 – Finish off your desk drawing with some color
This is the stage where you can let your imagination run wild on your desk drawing, using whatever mediums and tools you want to bring your image to life. Have fun with it, and you’ll be amazed at what you can achieve!
