How to Draw an Angel
What Does an Angel Look Like? Is it a Girl Angel or a Child Angel? It depends on what you mean by angel. Angels usually have a pair of large feathered wings extending from their backs. Learn how to draw a Girl Angel with wings in pencil step by step.
Draw the outline of an angel in a slightly inclined position, hovering in the air. Add the appropriate lines for arms and legs, as well as a pair of lines for the wings. Try to match the contours of the angel’s contours from my drawing to your picture.
Draw a line across the bottom to show the Angel’s dress, and a line across the middle of her body for modesty. Use your own hands and feet to sketch the Angel’s outline.
Draw the Angel’s female facial features, including eyebrows, lips, and eyes, in the first step, making the line slightly wavy and extending the bottom of the dress to the side to create the effect of wind or motion.
To give each wing a feathery appearance, draw squiggly lines across the top and bottom.
The feathers on the wings will overlap one over the other in two rows, which will suffice for large Angel wings. Make the ends of each feather circular or oval, and put more detail into the lower row of feathers than the upper row to properly convey the proportions.
Add small touches throughout your Angel’s picture, as needed, to give it more shape and volume. Next, use the pencil to sketch a shadow on the Angel’s dress, which gives the figure volume. This is the final step of the drawing an angel.
