How to Draw Cartoon Bugs
Bugs are an important part of our world, and they deserve to be celebrated as such. This cartoon drawing tutorial demonstrates another way to look at our multi-legged friends: by changing the sizes of similar objects, you can give your drawing a little perspective.
MATERIALS
Draw Cartoon Bugs (click for a PDF). Simple Bugs drawn with Sharpie Brush markers on mini canvas.
DIRECTIONS
Draw a cartoon bug. Time required: 1 hour and 45 minutes. Add eyes, antennae, and a body below. Draw a pair of wings above, as well as a smaller bug above the grass. Trace with a marker and color.

Is a snail a bug?
