If you don’t want the lines outside of the head board/foot board areas to be visible, draw a line from the dot to the corners of the outer vertical lines, using a ruler. You can then erase the lines that are outside of the head board/foot board areas if you don’t want them to be visible.
With your ruler, draw a line from the foot board to the head board, then connect it to the dot with a horizontal line (as seen in the larger blue line above). Connect the two red lines together from the left and right sides of this horizontal line.
If drawing shapes is difficult, break them down into simpler shapes, such as the ‘L’ and ‘T’ shapes on the right side of the bed covers or the sideways capital letter ‘J’ on the pillow, and use your imagination to assist you.
