How to Draw Wings
Add in faint curves for the feathers; they should be mostly oval-like and overlapping one another but not going beyond three rows or so per wing.
For an eagle’s wing, draw three layers of feathers. Sketch the base line and fill it in with feathers. Draw the second and third layers using simple curves and lines. Trace with a pen, erase unnecessary lines, and use your imagination to create a set of natural looking feathers. Eagle wing feathers resemble “fingers,” but this does not apply to all birds, such as budgerigars.
