Step 1
You’ll have enough room to draw the kitten’s entire face and body if you start at the upper right corner of your paper; the guideline for this illustration should divide your paper into four square divisions.
Step 2 — Draw an Outline of the Kitten’s Face
Extend the lines from below the ears to the chin; the kitten’s face should be a little wider at the button than at the top to emphasize its cheeks; and don’t forget to add pointed clumps of fur on each side of the face.
Step 3 — Then, Draw the Kitten’s Front Legs
Draw two front legs side by side beneath the kitten’s face, as shown in the illustration. The front legs can be drawn by simply drawing overlapping curved lines below the face.
Step 4 — Draw the Bottom Part of the Kitten’s Body
When drawing a kitten’s back and bottom, the back should be structured downwards, while the bottom should be curved into a half circle shape. When drawn correctly, the outline should appear as a downward slope, making the kitten appear to be sitting down.
Step 5 — Next, Draw the Kitten’s Hind Legs
Add lines between the kitten’s legs and a leg with a paw right underneath its bended thighs, as well as lines on the cat’s paw to make it look like it has claws instead of just claws.
Step 6 — Then, Draw the Kitten’s Tail
Draw a long, fluffy tail on the lower bottom part of a kitten’s body; you can make it as furry as you want by adding large chunks of fur poking out all over the tail. The tail is as easy to draw as a sausage, and you can do it any way you want.
Step 7 — Outline the Kitten’s Inner Ear
Draw a triangular shape inside a kitten’s ear, following the outline of the animal’s head, to outline the inside of the ears, giving the kitten’s physical features a more dimensional and realistic appearance.
Step 8 — Now, Draw the Kitten’s Nose and Mouth
Draw an upside down triangular shape in the middle of the kitten’s face to represent its nose, and two curved lines directly beneath the nose to represent the mouth, which should resemble a curved letter “w,” as shown in the illustration below.
Step 9 — Afterwards, Draw the Kitten’s Eyes
Kittens come in a variety of colors, with the most common being white, black, ginger, grey, cream, brown, cinnamon, and fawn; however, some kittens have distinct patterns on their skin, so they typically have more than one color.
