Dotted lines in photoshop tutorial
This tutorial will show you how to make dotted lines in any version of Photoshop, not just CC; the CC method’s limitation is that we can only work with paths or shapes. Watch the video to see how to do it in both CC and CS.
Use the Shape tool to grab a heart shape and choose Shape from the options; in this case, I used the pen tool on Windows 8.1 to create a heart-shaped path in the shape of a heart.
Choose the color and width of the stroke from the top menu, then click on the line next to size to reveal the Stroke Options, where you can choose between sots, dashes, or a solid line for each type of stroke.
To set a custom dot/dash style, click the More options button. Here, we have a custom dashed path on our heart shape for our logo.
