How to Draw A Campfire – A Step by Step Guide
Campfires are great for cooking, telling stories, and roasting marshmallows, but it can also be fun to relive some camping memories by learning how to draw a campfire, and if you want to do just that, you’ve come to the right place!
Every campfire needs wood to burn at its base, and this is the first step in learning how to draw a campfire; we’ll be adding more wood to the pile in the next step, so we’re ready to go!
Step 2 – Draw some more of the woodpile of the campfire next
In this step of your campfire drawing, we’ll add some more logs to the woodpile; to do so, draw three more circle shapes between the other two, then extend some more lines inward from those circles, as you did with the others.
Step 3 – Start drawing the fire for this campfire
How to Draw a Campfire: In this section of our guide on how to draw a campfire, we’ll draw the base of the fire’s outline, which will be drawn with curved liens and sharp lines along the sides.
Step 4 – Add some more of the fire outline now
In step four of your campfire drawing, you’ll add more to the outline of the fire you started in the previous step; unlike the base, which had more round lines than jagged ones, the upper portion of this fire will have more jagged and sharp lines.
Step 5 – Next, finish off the outline of the fire
This is the final step in our guide on how to draw a campfire outline. We’ll use sharper lines for the upper section of the fire, and a more curved and sharp line for the lower section, before adding some final details and colors.
Step 6 – Now, add the final details of your campfire drawing
This step of your campfire drawing will be all about adding the finishing touches to the picture, which will include details for both the fire and the logs, as well as the ability to add your own extra details and elements, such as a background showing the rest of the campsite or even people sitting around it!
Step 7 – Finish off your campfire drawing with some color
We used yellows and oranges for the fire and shades of brown for the wood in our illustration; however, these are just suggestions, and you should feel free to use any colors you like!
