How to Draw a Hat
This guide from Easydrawingart.com will show you how to draw a hat, which will be a great complement to the jeans, boots, and glasses that we painted earlier. It will consist of a series of basic stages, all of which will be painted red.
In the beginning, don’t try to make the lines too dark and clear; instead, stick to the simple rules of drawing a man holding a golden retriever.
Draw a large oval for the brim of the hat and make it very light and almost transparent.
To do so, draw the band that connects the top of the hat to the brim.
To make a cartoon character’s hat look more realistic, erase the top layer with an eraser and trace it with a darker pencil or ink. Using an eraser again, completely clear the hat drawing of excess lines.
We chose sand for the hat itself and brown for the band in this Easydrawingart.com tutorial on how to draw a hat, but you can paint it in any color you like. Want to learn more about clothing? Check out the other articles in the Clothing category.
