How to Draw a Jack O’Lantern
This simple step-by-step tutorial will show you how to draw a Jack O’Lantern. This isn’t our first Halloween drawing idea; check out all of them, as well as a slew of others, in our collection of drawing guides. WARNING: this post contains affiliate links*.
Start with the letter C and only the curvy part of the letter D, then use the letters A, B, C, and D to work your way up to the pumpkin’s outer edge.
Make three arches connecting the top end points of the curved shapes (it’s fine if you only make two or more). Then connect them in a triangle shape to the bottom endpoints of the previous arches.
Draw your own Jack o’lantern, whether it’s cute, scary, simple, or complex. Draw the mouth for your Jack o’lantern – any kind of mouth will do as long as it’s shaped like a pumpkin.
The eyes and nose are next, followed by the lips, cheeks, brows, and even the brows.
