Water lilies have been painted by many wonderful artists, the most well-known of whom is Claude Monet. I decided to try my hand at oil painting for the first time, and here is a step-by-step guide on how to draw and paint a water lily. It’s just an oval with two little curved lines, one for the middle that will be the widest part, and the other for the background.
