Step 1: Draw an Ear Shape
To begin, measure the length of your ruler and draw three lines along it, then draw three lines through it to divide it into four equal sections. Label the lines A, B, and C so you can easily refer to them.
Step 5: Using the shadow lining technique, draw a line from the inside of the ear to the middle of the nose; try not to make the line parallel to the one drawn in step 4, or you’ll look like your ears are glued together.
